Chron.com | House ethics guru may have ignored lessons:
From the WaPo:
WASHINGTON - Before they take their seats in the House of Representatives, newly elected lawmakers come to Washington for a weeklong orientation that includes a briefing on congressional ethics. That's right children, the very same Representative #1 from the Abramoff indictment is giving the freshmen congress-critters an ethics lesson.
Presiding over their instruction is the chairman of the House Administration Committee, who since 2001 has been Rep. Bob Ney, R-Ohio.
From the WaPo:
In court papers, prosecutors refer to only one congressman: Rep. Robert W. Ney (R-Ohio).I guess this gives new meaning to the adage "those who can't do, teach".
