Since joining the World Community Grid on 7/30/2005, I've accumulated over 10,000 points and have shot up to a 43,731 ranking from an unauspicious start in the high 70 thousands. I suspect that this is in large part due to the fact that I have 2 machines contributing rather than just one, and that one of them is almost always idle ever since my daughter got her own laptop.
