Total Incompetence

You can't make this shit up.

FEMA Director: We Did Not Know New Orleans Convention Center Was A Hurricane Shelter (emphasis mine):
Zahn: you’re not telling me that you just learned that the folks at the convention center didn’t have food and water until today, are you? You had no idea that they were completely cut off?

Brown: Paula, the federal government did not even know about the convention center people until today.

Don't you think that the first %^$#! question out of this idiots mouth when he got to Louisiana over the weekend would have been: "Okay, where are all the hurricane shelters located?"

For that matter, don't you think that this is something that they should have known like years and years ago!? I'll bet James Witt knew it was a shelter.

Brown didn't know.

Chertoff didn't know.

Did they bother to ask?!

Does no one in the administration bother to monitor CNN, MSNBC and FoxNews?

This information has been on every broadcast, in every newspaper and all over the blogosphere for days, and these cretinous political dimwits are just now figuring out that thousands of people have been directed to a location that no one in FEMA or DHS even knows about!?

Mr. President, now is no time for political cronies. We need leadership. Why don't you ask, no beg, James Witt to help direct the disaster relief and allow him to bring his former staff with him. Have Brown and Chertoff go play a few rounds of golf or something. They are only serving to make matters worse. At least James Witt knew what he was doing.

Mr. President, this clown show that you hired has their heads so far up their asses they can't see what's going on around them. I hold you responsible.

Worst.administration.ever.

If you aren't outraged, you haven't been paying attention.

The BushCo clown show has wrecked this country. Hopefully, we have not passed the tipping point from which we cannot recover.

The big-oil companies are gouging us at the pump (prices went up $0.40 yesterday and an additional $0.36 today) and BushCo does nothing. An entire city is lost and BushCo has their political hacks sending out letters to ask Republicans to beseech their congress critters to end the so-called "death tax" (which should be renamed the "Paris Hilton" tax)

We need adult supervision. I'm not sure that we can survive 3 1/2 more years of this incompetence.
